>> Time Attendance

Biometric time and attendance units
record time keeping activities by scanning your employees
fingerprint, confirming their identity then registering the
times clocked in and out of work and also any breaks taken
throughout their shift. All this information is then used to
calculate the total hours worked for the week,
eliminating the need for time sheets. It’s no secret you pay
for employees that aren’t at work either by the 10-15
minutes time window at the start and end of the day or with
friends clocking in and out for each other (known as ‘buddy
punching’). It all adds up, how can you make sure you only
pay for hours actually worked.
Identify your potential savings with a
biometric time & attendance system: The following chart
shows what arriving at work 5 minutes late and leaving work
5 minutes early for the workday and at lunch hours can cost
your business. This conservative estimate is based on 250
working days a year at a rate of 20 minutes each day. Keep
in mind that the above numbers only cover standard wages.
The overhead and overtime that each employee costs the
company could easily increase the above figures by 50-100
percent.
